| Arnold J. Kemp: Three Performances |
On Saturday, October 17 at Tufts Granoff Music Center (20 Talbot Avenue, Medford), Tufts University Art Galleries and Fall 2026 exhibiting artist Arnold J. Kemp will present three works written and directed by Kemp, February 14, In Arms, and The Otherists (all 2024). In the tradition of New Narrative and the Poets Theater, a term that applies to plays written by poets and artists and staged informally in the midst of an arts community, Kemp’s plays have a makeshift, “let’s do the show right here” aesthetic. The performances unfold in a world that exists in the permeable space between reality and fiction, mixing the local community with characters across time and space. RSVPs recommended. Limited free parking will be available, please arrive early to secure your spot and your seat. |
