2026 SMFA at Tufts BFA Senior Thesis Exhibition: Until we run out of space

The 2026 BFA Senior Thesis exhibition Until we run out of space at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) features the work of graduating BFA and Combined Degree seniors in the Atrium, Anderson Auditorium, Grossman Gallery, B305 and B307 galleries, and across the SMFA campus.

The exhibition showcases work from across SMFA at Tufts’ areas of study, including Painting & Drawing, Photography, Ceramics, Metals, Sculpture, Film, Video & Animation, Digital Media, Sound, Print & Paper, and Graphic Arts. Participating artists include:

Until we run out of space is organized by Associate Dean of Curriculum, Chantal Zakari, Director of Senior Thesis Mikey MacMahon; with SMFA Faculty, Kate Conlon, Sean Glover, Valerie Polgar, Laura Beth Reese, and Courtney Stock; in collaboration with the Tufts University Art Galleries (TUAG) staff, Laurel V. McLaughlin, David Thacker, and Megan Weeda; and with immense thanks to the Specialized Studio Team and the entire faculty and staff who have been instrumental in the lives and careers of the Senior Thesis cohort.

The public reception for Until we run out of space is May 16, 2026 from 5–8 PM at 230 Fenway.
